MAMA Policies

Regular attendance is critical for moving through the levels and programs at MAMA. Classes progress as a whole. Students that miss class have to work harder just to "catch up", and then learn the curriculum for the week. Teachers may recommend private lessons for a student to make up for missed classes or choreography.

All students must be officially enrolled prior to taking class. Students may not switch, add or drop classes without notifying the administration directly, not just their instructor. Class sizes are limited and varies with age and ability. The Academy reserves the right to merge, cancel or add/split classes depending on enrollment.

The Academy structures its classes to be program based, meaning students will get the appropriate amount of time dancing to progress at a steady or accelerated rate, depending on their age and level.

Tuition is based on a 12 month program. A down payment is taken off the full cost of the program and the balance is then divided into 12 payments, regardless of attendance though out the 12 months.

Yearly Paid in Full option is available, receive 10% off total tuition, approximately 5.5 weeks free.

Tuition is due on the day or date of your first class. Tuition will be due on the same date for the 12 month period. Late or missed payments are subject to a $35 late fee. All student monthly accounts are set up with MasterCard, Visa, Amex, or Discover for automatic payment each month. Paid in Full can be cash or check.

Enrolling in programs at the Academy, student/payee promises to uphold all policies and payments outlined on form and on policies page for the 12 month period.

All Students in "Performance" classes are expected to perform in the June Performance.

Costume Fees are $80 per class for Young Dancers & Fundamental Program Dancers.

Costume Fees are $100 per class for Enrichment through Graduate Programs.

Costume Fees are $100 per class for Adult Levels 2 & 3. 

Some Plus size Orders may incur an additional $10-$15 Dollar fee.

Costume Fees will automatically be posted to your account on November 1st.

Students Enrolling after November 1st, costume fees are due with enrollment.

Fitness classes and Adult Fundamentals level 1 classes are non-performing and do NOT have a costume Fee.

June Performance Fee is $80 per family and includes 2 Free Tickets to June Performance.

This Fee is only applied to students performing in the June Performance.

June Performance Fee will be automatically posted to your account on April 1st.

Every student place in class has worth, both to the student, and to the Academy as well. 

The Academy can only continue to offer it's amazing programs, keep it's high level of instructor's and training by ensuring students are committed throughout their full 12 month program.

Adult Payee of the account must come, in person, to the Main School Front Desk to fill out a Withdrawal Form. Telling the teacher, a phone call, email or text does NOT constitute a formal withdrawal at the Academy.

 This form is only available in hard copy and will not be emailed. We appreciate your understanding, as it is difficult during any season to acquire new students to fill a current students spot. 

I/we understand that dance is a physical activity and injuries may occur, bruising being the main one. I/we understand that all lost items left behind will be the sole responsibility of student/parent and MAMA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. I/we hereby release  MAMA Dance Studio, its Instructors and affiliates from any and all future action of dissent or liable. 

By signing Enrollment Agreement Form you consent to all of the above.
