PERFORMANCE NIGHTS ARRIVAL TIMES: Amato Center
Young Dancer & Fundamentals Level 1: Please Arrive at: 3:30pm (4:00pm Showtime).
Have your costume & dance shoes on before going backstage.
Please, first use the bathroom with parent, this is must!!!
One parent per Young Dancer & Fundamental Level 1 Dancer is allowed backstage to help them prepare. These dancers will be given a special spot for waiting. It is only about 30 minutes.
After they perform they will go to sit with you on your lap, or in a seat if you have purchased a ticket for them. We do ask that you remain for at least the rest of the first half of the show.
Young Dancers & Fundamentals Parents: We hope that you will stay to watch second half of the show with your dancer, as this is not only a wonderful show and lots of fun, but it really gives the younger dancers a chance to see what they can accomplish going forward. We do understand that some may choose to leave and we are sorry to see you go, please do leave only at intermission and not during the show as this is very distracting to your fellow audience, but to the performers as well.
Running time for the show is only about 2 hours, about an hour or less for the second half!
MAMA will have water & snack donations for dancers, no bags/items should be left with the Younger students.
Young Dancers & Fundamental Dancers will be going out after the Prologue to sit on Parent's lap.
If you prefer, you may purchase a ticket for your dancer to sit in their own seat, as seating will be very limited.
ALL OTHER PERFORMERS: Please Arrive at: 3:00pm (4:00pm Showtime)
Please do not arrive before 3:00pm , as the theatre will be locked.
If you have a dancer in both Young Dancer/Fundamentals and another in Level 2 or up, please arrive at the earlier time; 3:00pm.
*HAIR. All Dancers must have their hair in a bun if it is long enough to get into a ponytail. If hair is shorter than shoulder length it must be clipped back off of the face with hair clips that match hair color. Boys must have hair neatly combed off face, in a bun if long. Please WRITE your child's name on everything! Black & White Permanent Laundry Pens Highly Recommended.
MAMA Team is not responsible for lost or stolen items, please leave valuables at home.
MAKE-UP: All Dancers ages 7 & Up should wear a water resistant foundation,
blush, eyeliner, mascara & red lipstick.
Young Dancer & Fundamentals Level 1 Dancers may wear whatever they are
comfortable applying from above list.
Foundation helps keep the bright lights from reflecting off the face, causing a blank expression.

Do have hair done and light make-up on! ALL Dancers.
Do arrive in your costume on if you are only in 1 number for that day. Changing space is very limited.
All Fundamentals Level 1 Dancers must arrive in costume for rehearsals & performances.
All dancers must attend their scheduled dress rehearsal. If a student misses a rehearsal for any reason, they may not be allowed to perform. Please understand this is when all of the other dancers are getting used to the spacing of each dancer and the tech persons are also doing lighting and sound. Remember it is most difficult on the student who misses than anyone else. A well rehearsed show is a fabulous show & student's confidence will shine through!
Class attendance is very important in the last months of lessons as this is when dancers are not only learning their choreography but polishing, polishing, polishing! Even after a dance has been learned dancers must continue to practice it and understand that many times last minute changes are made to produce a better dance & performance.
An absence may mean missing out an any of these changes & not performing to the best of their ability.
MAMA Team is beyond grateful to bring the world of the Arts & Dance to the students of the Monadnock Area, this performance is the culmination of everyone's hard work and focus. Let's shine together as students, parents and teachers!
